An ideal situation that negotiators can come across is when all the parties involved in negotiations completely trust each other; hence there lies no need for worrying about time or tactics. An average situation is when the parties involved do not fully trust each other; therefore, negotiators have to use time and tactics to enjoy influence, so as to turn the tables. However, the worst situation that negotiators can face is the lack of time and trust simultaneously; it is then, the negotiators should devise very prudent tactics and employ them cleverly; otherwise negotiations will not bear fruit.

It can verifiably be said, that it is precisely the trust which makes negotiations a lot easier to flow. For a business, it is of vital importance to carry out a thorough analysis of all these three elements for each of their customers.
