The word women, when said aloud, will make most people think of their own mother. A loving, caring warm person in your life. Although a bit of a generality it is still true that Western people have very different mentalities to their Eastern counterparts. The attitude of Eastern people can be said to be very like that of Western people many years ago. Every person is different but the women of Russia do share common personality traits. And it is these traits that make them the most feminine and caring in the world.

All throughout history the women of Russia have stood out. It has always been the women who have held together families and communities during times of hardship. It is times like these that show a persons true character. They are widely known to have one of the most protective and caring cultures in the world. And it is traits just like these that give Russian hostesses their reputation of being more hospitable than any other.

A contributing factor to this mentality is communism. All of the older generation were raised in a communist country which gave them very strong family values. As well as this, they were raised to believe in giving to the community, responsibility and self dedication. They believe that giving help to others is the most important thing they can do, even more important than themselves. And these values have been, and will continue to be, passed down from mother to child.

A lot of women in Russia are treated very badly by men. The men grow up benefiting from the good nature of the women and begin to take them for granted. A Russian wife, as well as working from eight to five every day, is expected to take care of the kids, cook all the food and clean the home all on her own.

In recent years, a lot of Western influences have found their way into Russia. And this has shown the women there that not all men have the same attitude towards them as the Eastern ones do. There are now more and more stories of women making good lives for themselves outside of Russia. A lot of the women have a friend or have heard of someone who has moved abroad and loves the attitude of their new husband.

The women of Russia, when they hear these stories of love and romance, are starting to realise that they deserve to be treated much better than they currently are. When treated kindly and with love and affection, they quickly become the most dedicated and appreciative wives who live solely for their husbands.
